I’m kinda skeptical. Yes, the nature of work is evolving, but predicting the extinction of 9-5 jobs seems extreme. Many industries rely on structured schedules. Remember when we thought email would make offices obsolete? Yet here we are, still waiting for a reply on GMail.

“We don’t have to work” means really “You won’t have anything to contribute or be compensated for”. Kicking back in cheap a super sized, turbo-powered hot tube while robots (not slow costly humans) do all the work is the billionaires’ dream.
